I generally eat 80 percent Paleo because it has really helped me deal with PMDD. I kind of fell off the wagon due to over three weeks of travel this summer and have suffered greatly this month. I am back on the wagon for the most part and have decided to join Weight Watchers as a Paleo gal.
The reason I think this will help is that my eyeballs don’t seem to grasp portion control, that grasp, eat like a mad woman control. Paleo opened doors to meat I have not eaten since childhood and much of it can have quite a bit of calories.
Many Paleo gals do Crossfit, well in my health journey, the road was just to be breast tumor free and to be able to keep an exercise routine before another bout of infections occurred. I am doing much better, but HIGH CALORIE BURNING Crossfit may never really be in my scope. Well, I am not going to say never.
Back to Weight Watchers… here is what sold me.
The new app has a bar-code scanner for many of the steamed veggies and frozen meals I eat. Although, the majority of their brand Smart Ones is filled with WHEAT… I can still find quite a few items that are readily scanned and added to my count.
I did really well the first week before the 3 weeks of vacation time hit, but then it got totally difficult. Trying to juggle point counting and Paleo is enough to make even the best women go nuts.
So here I set telling you this week I am going to try, try, try.
The first goal is 10 percent… Let the Games Begin.
