I am making a huge effort these days to get enough sleep. It seems like the first thing that goes in a busy mom’s life is adequate sleep, the next is her diet and lastly personal self-care. Well, I for one felt the pain of putting off doctor’s appointments for family events and have a pretty rocking scar under my left breast to remind me.
However, “Rome was not built-in a day”. So my little steps of late have been exercise or movement each day and at least 6 hours of sleep. I would like to have seven, but so far that has not worked out so well, but I am going to keep trying!
How about you? How much sleep do you think we need each day?

January 17, 2014 atHubby and I were talking about that this afternoon. It seems when I sleep more I am more tired. My sleeping habits have changed over the years. I used to need 12 hours of sleep a day to function normally. Now I get about 6-7 and I do pretty good.
I think it all depends on the individual.
