This commercial was airing when folks still grabbed a bucket and sides and enjoyed it at the park with a floral table cloth, gingham napkins and bottles of Cola! I still hanker for a leg and thigh with mashed potatoes and greenbeans. But alas, greenbeans are no more and that was the end of my KFC journey. I may return one day… but not anytime soon.

April 14, 2015 atI remember my mom bringing me to KFC. As the years passed, they went down. The chicken was scrawny and awful. The last KFC in this town closed recently. But good memories.

April 14, 2015 atHi – Just stopping by on the A to Z Challenge. I don’t remember eating much KFC as a child but my kids like it so we get it from time to time. But more often we go to Bush’s Chicken. (That may be a regional place. I am in Texas but it is good!)
